ArtisTree
We are a non-profit committed to making creative expression and its appreciation accessible to our community.
"Our community arts center provides the opportunity for a joyful, meaningful, and satisfying experience of the visual arts, theatre and music through our year-round classes, workshops, performances and events. We encourage our local community members of all ages and abilities to participate in a wide variety of art processes. Our affiliated branch, Purple Crayon Productions, focuses on programs for preschool children age 5 and under. ArtisTree Gallery is a space dedicated to the appreciation and enjoyment of a wide variety of fine art works. The mission of ArtisTree Theatre Company is to pursue art’s greater purposes and the transformative power of theatre — as a builder of community, a source of enrichment, and a builder of cultural legacy.
The programs we offer are designed to nurture each person's inherent creative capacities and raise the possibility of art as a vital force in an individual's overall growth and expressive abilities. ArtisTree and Purple Crayon are 501(c)(3) non-profit organizations."

Marsh Billings Rockefeller National Historical Park
This beautiful park, located in Woodstock, VT, shares a story of conservation history and the evolving nature of land stewardship in America. The home of George Perkins Marsh, Frederick Billings, and then Laurance S. and Mary F. Rockefeller, this land was a symbol of three generations of conservationist thought and practice. This park finds a means of balance between conservation stewardship and twenty-first century human interaction.
Below are a few links, which you can find more about what the park has to offer:

ScuptureFest
"Director Charlet Davenport has worked as an artist in Vermont since 1963. Currently her work in ceramic sculpture is influenced by many years of acting as Director of Sculpture Fest. Initially her outdoor art installations were created on fibre glass mesh and installed in public spaces... Peter Davenport, Co-Director of Sculpture Fest, is the one-man landscape force. Along with his duties as curator of the exhibition he aids artists in installing work, clearing sites, creating the signage, keeping everything clear for visitors as well as caring for the grounds throughout the exhibition time.
Both Davenports agree that land belongs to all of us and welcome the guests who come to Sculpture Fest each year."
